Ruth J. Ghannam age 78 of Canton passed away October 24th at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a brief illness. Born in Robbinston, Maine she graduated from Livermoore Falls High School in Maine. She enjoyed her early years in Robbinston, Maine growing up on the family farm. In her later years she enjoyed writing and wrote a memoir about her time on the farm in Robbinston. She also loved to read, play the piano, planting flowers and dress up to go out. Technology also fascinated her and loved to use her new I Pad. She and her husband Hasan ran the family Dry Cleaning business, Town & Country Dry Cleaning in Newton, for many years. She has lived in Canton for the last 15 years. Beloved wife of the late Hasan M. Mother of Matthew Ghannam and his wife Terri of Stoneham, Nancy Storer and her husband Chris of Watertown and Lee Ghannam and his wife Rhonda of Tewksbury. Sister of Esther W. Giannetta and her husband Frank of Canton. Also survived by 8 grandchildren. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Tuesday 1 to 4 pm. Relatives and friends invited to attend a funeral service at the funeral home Wednesday morning at 11. Burial Canton Corner Cemetery. | |||||
