Sylvia Mae (Canaday) Peak, 86, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Versailles, Mo she was a homemaker and mother. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Peak, Sr. She is survived by her five children, Charlotte Jamiseon, Belinda Kay Herlein, Charles Edward Peak, Jr., James Leo Peak, Sr., and Rhonda Tobias; brother, William Canaday; fourteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren and twelve great great-grandchildren. Her funeral will be 12:00 noon Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy, with burial at Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00 to 8:00 pm Monday.
