Wanda Ruth Carstarphen
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Friday, October 24, 2014 after an extended illness, Wanda Ruth Carstarphen, 86, wife of Robert Carstarphen.
Mrs. Carstarphen was manager of Carstarphen Paper Company and Carstarphen Enterprises. She was an accomplished artist and won several awards.
In addition to her husband, family members include son: Bruce Carstarphen of Augusta; niece: Charlotte Cash; nephews: Eddie Clark, Jeff Carstarphen, and Frank Carstarphen; brother-in-law: James C. Clark. Mrs. Carstarphen is preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Eulice Bible and sisters, Verna Bible Clark and Unive Bible.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 27, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Dwayne French, Rev. J.C. Clark, and Fr. Gerald Ragan officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA, PO Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090.
The family will receive friends one hour before the service, beginning at 1:00 P.M.
