Celistino Soares Marques (58) of Praia, Santiago, Cape Verde died October 24th in the Mass General Hospital, Boston. He was the husband of the late Alice Varela.
He was born in Praia, Cape Verde son of the late Gustavo and Maria (Dagrasa) Marques. Celistino ran a taxi service in the city of Praia. He loved socializing with family and friends and listening to traditional Cape Verdean music.
He is survived by his children, Elvio, Carlitos, Mayza, Elizangila, Evangro, Eveline, Joziane, Bruno, Jovane, Metza, Nivaldo, Celiza, and Angel, his siblings Kiki, Moises, Tavinho, George, Lexi, Paulo, Isa, Can, Dada, Vavoca, Rui and Eloisa also many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services from the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Saturday November 1st at 8:30 am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Church at 9:30 am. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation Friday October 31st from 5-9 pm.
