Obituary

Franklin R. "Beezie" Chase, 89, of Derry, NH, died Friday October 24, 2014 in his home surrounded by his family. A lifelong resident of Derry, he was born in Derry on October 8, 1925, a son of the late Frank and Grace (Duffield) Chase. Beezie attended Derry schools, and had been employed as a glazier with Standard Sash and Door in Derry, as well as a truck driver for Agway. Beezie was well known to always lend a hand. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening and building birdhouses.
He is survived by his two daughters, Judith Kilham and her husband Brad of Rockledge, FL, and Christine Lee and her husband Arthur of Gilford, NH; seven grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; one brother, Robert Chase of Jacksonville, FL; one sister, Sally Pelissier of Brooksville, FL; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Carmela A. (Matarozzo) Chase in 2004.
Calling hours were held on Wednesday, October 29th from 5 - 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Funeral services were held on Thursday at 10:00am in the funeral home. The burial followed in Forest Hill Cemetery in E. Derry.
