Olive E (Cairns) McCann, 93 of Methuen passed away on October 23, 2014 at the Holy Family Hospital. Olive was born on October 26, 1920 in Lawrence to the late Raymond and Agnes Cairns. She was a graduate of Lawrence High School, Class of 1938. Olive retired from Raytheon in 1985 where she was employed for 30 years. She loved spending time with her family more than anything else.
Olive was the loving wife of the late Frank L. McCann. She was the devoted mother of Frank L. McCann and his wife Andrea, John L. McCann and his wife Sheila and Debra Moury and her husband Kevin with whom she resided with. She was the cherished grandmother of Eoin, Caitlin, Brooke, Lindsay and Melissa. Olive is also survived by her great grandchildren; Jake, Kevin, Dakota, Keegan, Olivia, John, Liam, Brady and Myles and her two special nieces Gail and Donna as well as many other nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her five brothers and four sisters.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A funeral service will be held immediately following the calling hours at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at the St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Cemetery of Lawrence.
