Thomas “Tommy” Gerard Smith, 62, passed away October 23, 2014 at his residence.
He was a self employed painter, a Navy Veteran serving in Vietnam, a member of the Zachary Taylor Post and a Catholic.
He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Eric Smith and Helen Arendt Smith and brother, Charles Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Hardin Smith; children, Mary Jane Robinson (Aundre) and Eric Daniel Smith (Cherie); grandchildren, Jordan, Danielle and Aundre M. Robinson and Amelia Smith and Landin Jones; brothers, Joe, Jack, Gene, and Steve Smith; sisters, Judy Marcus, Barbara Puente, Kathy Fritz, Anna Marie Cosgrove and Martha Smith and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held 11 am, Monday at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Rd. Visitation 1-8 pm, Sunday at the funeral home. Burial Kentucky Veterans Cemetery – Central, Radcliff, KY
