Mary J. Connolly passed away peacefully at home on Thursday morning. She was 88.

Mary was raised in Charlestown, the daughter of the late James and Mary (Foley) Connolly. She lived in Charlestown for most of her life until settling in Waltham, several years ago. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed time with her relatives and friends.

Mary was the devoted sister of Robert Connolly and his wife Rose of Arlington, Katherine O’Laughlin of Wakefield and the late James Connolly. She also leaves many dear nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Monday October 27th at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4 – 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
