Lorene Gravely Sundquist, 93, passed away Monday, October 20, 2014. Lorene was predeceased by her husband, Gustaf F. Sundquist on August 31 1995. She leaves behind two sisters, Margaret G. Knight and Edith G. Sanders of Martinsville, Virginia. Many nieces and nephews. Lorene was predeceased by her sisters; Ollie G. Bouldin of Martinsville, Kathryn G. Dowdy of Richmond, two brothers, Dillard F. Gravely of Collinsville, Virginia, and Kenneth W. Gravely of Charlottesville, Virginia.
Lorene was born in Martinsville, Virginia, the daughter of Benjamin F. Gravely and Gracie Richardson Gravely. Lorene moved to Worcester after her husband Gustaf returned from the War. Lorene previously worked at Denholm’s Department Store.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at 11:00 am in All Faith’s Cemetery, 7 Island Dr. Arrangements are in the care of LINDQUIST LUNDIN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler St.
