Charles C. “Chuck” Meredith, 87, passed away Tuesday evening, October 21, 2014 at Norton Audubon Hospital.
He was born in Edmondson County, KY to Hobart & Alice (Clark) Meredith.
He was a retired Truck Driver and a member of Teamsters Local # 89 and a WW II Navy Veteran.
For many years he was a “Snowbird” in Cape Coral, FL., where he loved to fish during the winter months.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, 3 Brothers: Wayne, Gerald, & Ben Meredith; and a Sister: Helen Culver.
Survivors include his Daughter: Tammy Sharp (Greg); a Grand Daughter: Chaney Jacobson (Nick); 2 Great Grandchildren: Addisyn & Austin;
a Brother: John Meredith and a Sister: Joyce McCaskill (Jim).
A Gathering of Friends for prayers will be at 10:00 AM Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. with burial to follow in Ollie Cemetery,
Mammoth Cave, KY at 1:00 PM EST Saturday.
Visitation will be Friday 2:00 – 8:00 PM.
