Obituary

Jerome “Jerry” M. Perchard, 68, of Walpole died October 21, surrounded by his family in his home following a long illness. He was the husband of Dorothy A. (Frazier) Perchard.
Born in Milton, August 14, 1946, the son of the late Paul and Elizabeth (Jackson) Perchard, Jerry was raised in Hyde Park and had lived in Walpole for the past 33 years.
Jerry had been a custodian for the Town of Foxboro school system for 10 years before retiring. He had previously worked for F&W Pest Control and the Sears Company at their Boston store.
Jerry had been a volunteer for the Meals on Wheels program, and enjoyed visiting the LaSalette Shrine in Attleboro and golfing.
He loved to be in the yard, whether it be mowing the lawn or planting flowers or simply “puttering” around.
A true family man Jerry was devoted to his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Michelle Adiletto of Franklin, Jennifer Hix and her husband Dean of Bellingham and Chris Perchard and his fiancée Corinne of Franklin.
He was the father-in - law of the late Daniel Adiletto.
He is also survived by his siblings, Maureen Malamphy of Lady Lake, Florida, Paul Perchard of Monroe, Michigan and Clare Cottuli of Southwick.
Jerry is also survived by his grandchildren, Dylan, Molly, Jeri, Jorja, Victoria, Isabella, Jacson and Kynslie.
He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 28 in St. Mary’s Church Franklin at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visiting hours will be on Monday from 4-7 p.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
