Obituary

Norman J. Perrault age 92 of Brockton died Tuesday October 21, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center after a period of failing health. He was the devoted husband of Geraldine T. (Florio) Perrault for 68 years. Norman was born and raised in Brockton one of 12 children of the late Leo and Susan (Ford) Perrault and remained a lifelong resident of the city.
Before his retirement, Norman was a sales rep for KJ Quinn in Malden and previously was a foreman at ET Wright and Howard & Foster shoe companies. During WWII he served in the US Army as a radio operator in in the China Burmese Indian Theatre.
A member of the Club National, Norman loved working in his yard, fishing and watching all sports. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Norman was the father of Karen Collum and her husband Dennis of Avon, Denise Porcaro and her husband Dennis of Brockton and the late Michelle Perrault. He leaves eight grandchildren Jill Rathgeber, Colleen Muerling, Sharon DelPrete, Dennis Collum, Brian Collum, Felicia Porcaro, Stephanie Porcaro and Sean Twohig and 16 great grandchildren. Norman was the brother of Leo Perrault of Florida, Madeline Rein of Texas, Lorraine Sullivan of Taunton. Beverly Korske of Bridgewater, Rosemary Harkins of Wareham and the late Beatrice Kliets, Rita Sullivan, Frances Mann, Susan Augenti, Audrey Silva and Robert Perrault. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton on Friday 4-8 pm. The procession will gather at the funeral home on Saturday at 9 am for a Funeral Mass on Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 10 am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery.
