Yvonne (Ronnie) C Bonsaint passed away on Sunday evening at Methuen Health and Rehab. She was 89 years old. She was born in Lawrence to the late Alexander Bonsaint and Leda Houle Bonsaint where she resided most of her life until moving to Methuen. She was predeceased by her sisters Del and Marcel. Her brothers Alexander ( tootsie ) Roland and Joseph. Her nieces Marianne and Marilyn. Her nephew CJ. Her good friends Lee Holland and Rena Pomeleau. All whom she loved and missed immensely.
She was a strong willed and independent women. She marveled when she looked at nature especially trees. She enjoyed God's creatures especially cats and is now reunited with Alex, Tootsie, Rocky and Lisa.
An avid reader where she learned a wealth of knowledge from politics and antiques to home remedies. She was a lover of yard sales. She loved the hunt of finding treasures and great deals. She was so proud of her discoveries and couldn't wait to show them off.
She is survived and will be greatly missed by her niece Elena Gastonguay. Marianne's children and Ronnie's great nieces Holly Homsey Mumford and Karla Homsey. Holly's children and Ronnie's great great nieces Nicole and Hannah Mumford. Her nephew Jim Ryley and his wife Norma. Their children Beth Coughlin , Matthew and Michael Ryley and Beth and Michael's children. Her niece Eleanor Bonsaint and nephew Larry Ryley. Her good friend Peter Hadley.
Arrangements are under the direction of the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA. At her request services will be private for the family.
