Thomas M. DeMello, 43, of Fall River passed away Sunday October 19, 2014 at home surrounded by his family after a long illness.
Born in New Bedford, he lived in New Bedford for most of his life before moving to Fall River.
Tom lived for his daughter. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed fishing and going to the casino with his brother.
He is survived by his daughter, Kara L. Burke-DeMello of Fall River; his mother, Brenda J. (Costa) DeMello of Fall River; his brothers, John DeMello and Shawn DeMello, both of New Bedford; and his grandmother, Hilda (Teixeira) Costa of New Bedford.
He was the brother of the late Rhonda DeMello Franco and grandson of the late Manuel Costa.
His Funeral will be held on Friday at 9 AM from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, followed by his Funeral Mass at St. Kilian's Church at 10 AM.
