Frederick K. Olson (69) died October 20th in Brockton. He was the husband of Lisa (Burns) Olson.
Fred was born in Boston son of the late Frederick S. and Aurelia (Kenney) Olson. He was a retired mechanic having worked for Desantis Chevelot, Bradford Trailer Sales, Keystone Parts and various other dealerships. He was an usher and choir member at the Trinity Baptist Church in Brockton, active in the "Manna" Food Pantry. A member of the Southeastern Mass Umpire Association, played Santa Claus at the Emerald Square Mall, was a security guard at the old Sullivan Football Stadium.
In addition to his wife he is survived by 3 sons Frederick K. Olson Jr of Lakeville, James D. Olson of Bridgewater, Robert A. Burns of Norton (also the late Christopher K. Burns), 3 daughters Diana L. Millette of Taunton, Jennifer L. Olson of Plainville, Kimberly A. Burns of Canton, 2 sisters Elaine Armstrong of Malden, Patricia Shain of Calf., 6 grandchildren Stephanie, Nicole, Tiffany, David, Alexavier and Isabella, his former wife Pamela J. Bedford and best friend Paul Wilkinson.
Funeral Services in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel Friday October 24th at 11 am. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation Thursday October 23rd from 5-8 pm.
