Son of deceased parents, James A. Dempsey and Beatrice A. (Charpentier) Dempsey. Beloved father to Paul W. Dempsey and his wife Sara K. Sherry, Janice M. Dempsey and her husband Frank Dawicki, Lisa A. Dempsey, Laura J. Cann and her husband Kevin. Grandfather to Malikkah A. gamble and her husband James, Liam J. Dempsey and his wife Mary Kate, Patrick P. Dempsey, Ryan W. Dempsey, Taylor A. Scott and Christopher S. Scott and his wife Francesca.
Great Grandfather to Alanna P. Gamble, William J. Dempsey and Lilliana Scott.
Wonderful Son-in-law to Nina J. McCarthy, Brother-in-law to Robert W. McCarthy and wife Jeanie of Illinois.
Employed with Felters Co. of Millbury, MA and managed their Midwest sales organization.
Relocated from Chicago area in 1969, lived in Sudbury, MA until 1992 prior to moving to Hudson.
Avid sportsman who enjoyed fishing and golfing.
Family and friends may attend calling hours on Saturday, Oct. 25th from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749 followed by a funeral service and celebration of Philip’s life at 12:00 noon in the funeral home. Burial services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
