Mildred C. (Mahan) Lopez, 87, of Worcester, passed away Saturday, October 18th in Worcester Health Center. Her husband, Raoul Lopez, died in 1992. Her first husband, Walter Peterson, died in 1978.
She was born in Charlton, the daughter of Michael A. and Catherine (Cavanaugh) Mahan and graduated from Charlton High School in 1945. Mrs. Lopez was a payroll clerk at American Optical for many years and later sold Avon products. She was a member of St. Paul’s Cathedral.
The funeral is Thursday, October 23rd, with a Mass at 10:00 A.M. in St. Paul’s Cathedral, 15 Chatham Street. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, is directing arrangements.
