LACONIA, NH – Helen M. Cameron, 98, of 247 Wellington Drive, died Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Forestview Manor in Meredith, NH.
Born in 1916, Helen Fowler Cameron lived most of her 98 years in Saugus, Mass., moving to NH to be with her family in 2003. Helen’s life centered around her two great loves; her husband of 59 years, Irving, and her hairdressing career. She operated Helen’s Beauty Shoppe in Saugus Center for many years.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Carmilia Sullivan and her husband Jack of Laconia, five grandchildren and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. “Gigi” had a special love for the children, and will be missed by all. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Irving Cameron and one son, Daniel Cameron.
There will be no calling hours.
A graveside service will be held at 3PM on Friday, October 24, 2014 in the family plot at Riverside Cemetery in Saugus, Mass.
Friends and family who wish to help remember Helen are also invited to the Community Center at Briarcrest Estates in Laconia at 5PM on Sunday, October 26th.
