Jim was born in Louisville, KY, March 16, 1941.
Loving father to Kim McClure Norwood and Doug McClure (Lisa) and their mother Wanda McClure. Loving and wonderful grandfather to Kendra Norwood, Bayley Norwood, Megan, Marissa, and Drew McClure. Also caring partner to Tammy Wallace. Brothers: W.L. McClure, Harold McClure; 4 Nieces & Nephews:
Jim McClure grew up in Pleasure Ridge Park and married his high school sweetheart. He owned his own company in the construction business and volunteered much of his time in helping others during his lifetime. He was a humble, kind, and generous soul who loved greatly and was greatly loved. His favorite times were at the beach with his family, playing golf with his son, white water rafting with his daughter and grandchildren, fishing with his brothers, and spending time with his family. He was a gift and a blessing to all who knew him and enjoyed life to it’s fullest.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday at the Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. with cremation to follow. Visitation will be 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM Wednesday
