Following a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer, Barbara J. (Conlin) Lemay McColligan age 65 of Derry, NH, passed away on Oct. 12th with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Lowell, MA, where she was a long time resident and was a graduate of Lowell High School. Barbara worked as a TSA officer at the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport.
Barbara loved spending time with her family and especially enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren, who adoringly called her “Nanny”. She loved gardening and would spend hours outdoors tending to her plants and flowers.
Barbara was predeceased by her father Joseph Conlin and her stepson Paul McColligan
She is survived by her husband of 17 years: Jerome “Jerry” McColligan
Daughter: Lisa (Lemay) and her husband Keith Babb
Son: Raymond and his wife Tanya Lemay
Mother: M. Louise (Hirbour) Conlin
Stepsons: Michael McColligan, Jerome and his wife Diana McColligan, Mark McColligan, Thomas and his wife Shawna McColligan
Stepdaughter: Tina-Lynn and her husband James Wilbur
Sister: Susan and her husband James Crowley
Brothers: Joseph and his wife Diane Colin, Martin and his wife Marianne Colin, and Brother in law: Carl McColligan
Several grandchildren, step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, Oct. 25th from 1-3 PM, followed by a memorial service at 3PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
