Obituary

Miss Marguerite B. Morin, of Raynham, died Sunday, October 19 in the Life Care Center of Raynham following a period of failing health. She was born 94 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of the late Uldric and Marie (Robillard) Morin. She was educated in Taunton schools, received her Bachelor of Education from the Catholic Teachers College in Providence, R.I., and received her Master’s Degree from Boston College. Marguerite has been a Raynham resident for many years. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed as a Greeter at Wal-Mart on Route 44 in Raynham for many years. She was previously employed as a teacher for several area school systems, and, in 1974, was named an “Outstanding Elementary Teacher of America.” Marguerite was formerly a Holy Union Sister in the Diocese of Fall River. She was a member of the Holy Family Church Womens Guild. Marguerite enjoyed traveling, playing bingo, letter writing, reading, trivia, and as a talented painter who worked in a variety of mediums. She was a communicant of Holy Family Parish in East Taunton, where she was also a lector.
She leaves many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street on Wednesday, October 22 at 9:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in Holy Family Church, E. Taunton, at 10:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will be private. Visiting Hours will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M
