Obituary

Alexander Douglas Dupuy, 30 years, of Brockton, died unexpectedly on October 16, 2014 at Good Samaritan Medical Center. A lifelong resident of Brockton, Alex was the loving son of Douglas P. and Patricia (Hancock) Dupuy. Alex was ardently devoted to his family as a loving father, son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew and cousin. He was a graduate of Brockton High School and attended Massasoit Community College. Alex found joy in family, friends, playing sports, riding his motorcycle and music. His generosity, compassion and congeniality lit up the lives of those around him.
In addition to his parents, Alex is survived by the love of his life Gina Valentin; two sons Antonio and Nikolai “Niko”; two sisters Allison Dupuy and Amanda Ugarte and her husband Ryan; nephew Jaxon Ugarte; grandmother Phyllis Hancock, godparents Lance Dupuy and Frances Kostka and countless aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton, Tuesday, 4-8pm. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home Wednesday at 9:30am for a funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the “Alex for Niko Dupuy Scholarship Fund” (c/o Douglas and Patricia Dupuy, 20 Swift Road, Brockton, MA 02301).
