Mombourquette, Helen H. (Miner) of West Roxbury passed away at the age of 93 on October 18th. She was the wife of the late Currie P. Mombourquette, and mother of the late Donna LeMay and the late Lawrence J. LeMay and his late wife Patricia. Helen was the loving mother of Patricia Kelly and her husband Bill, Arthur Mombourquette and his wife Julie. She was the loving grandmother of Michelle Santiago, Patrick & Robert LeMay, Margaret Sergeant, Alycia Jordan, Jason & Karin Mombourquette, Lauren Riley, and Christopher, Peter, Griffin and Aidan Kelly. Helen was also the loving and proud great-grandmother of Elliot and Alaina Santiago, Elizabeth, Erin, Emma & Sean LeMay, Whitney & Sarah LeMay, Zachary Sergeant, Graham Kelly and Shea Riley.
Helen retired from the Boston Lying-In Hospital where she served as a cook for many years. She was very active in senior groups and activities in West Roxbury. For the last eight years, she resided at Edelweiss Village where she enjoyed an active life with a close group of friends. She was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be missed always.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made to St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Roxbury, MA.
Funeral from The Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY on Friday October 24, at 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Theresa of Avilla Church at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday in the funeral home from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Interment in The MA National Cemetery, Bourne at 2:30 PM.
