Muriel B. Aubin, 78, died Thursday, October 16, 2014 in the Friendly Home, Woonsocket. She was the wife of Joseph O.L. Aubin Sr, of Grove St, Woonsocket, to whom she had been married for fifty one years. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Oscar and Derilda (Chabot) Chevalier.
Muriel had worked in the textile industry for many years at both Art Garment and Royal Robes. She enjoyed bowling, jigsaw puzzles and crochet.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two sons, Henry Aubin and his wife Susan of Providence and Joseph O.L. Aubin Jr. and his wife Jennifer, her daughter Rachel Gilman and her husband William Sr, two sisters, Lillian Brais, all of Woonsocket, and Lorraine Brouillard of Grafton, MA, three grandchildren, Holly Piekos, William Gilman Jr, and Steven Aubin, and one great-grandson, Liam Piekos.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 21at 9:00AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main Street, Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in Precious Blood Church, Carrington Avenue, Woonsocket. Burial will be private. Calling hours are Monday from 6-8PM.
