Judith (Reese) Moran, 69, died October 13 in Jacksonville, FL after a brief illness. She was born November 26, 1944 in Boston, MA, the daughter of the late Donald and Geraldine (Currier) Reese. Judy was the beloved wife of Dr. George Moran and devoted mother of Christopher M. Moran, of FL. She is also survived by her devoted brother Douglas F. Reese and his wife Ann of Plympton, MA. She was predeceased by her brother Lawrence M. Reese of CA. Judy leaves many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
During her years in Jacksonville, she was an active member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, working on many outreach programs for the needy, in particular, the Creative Crafters and she volunteered at the Sulzbacker Center.
Family and friends are welcome to gather for a Graveside Service at Hillcrest Cemetery (Rt. 58) Plympton, on Tuesday October 21 at 11:00AM. Donations in her memory may be made to Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 6320 Bennett Rd., Jacksonville, FL, 32216.
