FRAMINGHAM: Mariann Leshinski, age 51, a former Natick resident, died on Tuesday afternoon, October 7, 2014, at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham. She was the devoted mother of Maigan Leshinski and Emily Carter, both of Natick.
Born in Quincy and raised in Natick, she was a daughter of James Z. and Marilou (McGinn) Leshinski. Mariann was a 1981 graduate of Natick High School and later earned her certification in childcare/preschool education. She had lived several years in Winthrop, ultimately settling in Framingham.
Mariann was employed with the Abbott School in Wellesley prior to her many years with the Goddard School in Wayland. Her love for children never waned and after days of dealing with little ones at work she still had plenty of love and energy for her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Mariann was exceptionally creative, a talented gardener, and a full on fan of both the Red Sox and Patriots.
She is survived by her daughters, Maigan and Emily; her and parents, Jim and Marilou; her grandchildren, Haley Alexis, Gia Sunshine, and Sotiros James; and her partner, Chris Rogaishio. She was also a devoted sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend.
Her funeral Mass will be on Friday, Oct. 17th at 10:00AM in Saint Patrick’s Church, 44 East Central Street, Natick. Visiting hours will be in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common, on Thursday 4:00 – 6:00PM.
