Leo A. “Uncle Leo” Pelletier, 87 of Fall River, passed away on Oct. 9, 2014. He was the son of the late Louis and Marie L. (Paradise) Pelletier. Prior to retiring, Leo worked 35 years for Calorie & Cook Transportation Co. as a Truck Driver. He was a US Army Veteran of WW II, a member of the Teamsters Union, Local 251, enjoyed dancing, bowling and socializing with his friends at A-1 Pizza.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews, and was the brother of the late Rita Jeannette Albernaz, Henry Pelletier, and Bertha Gouveia.
Visitation for Leo will take place in the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on SATURDAY from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. services in the funeral home. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. www.rogersfuneral.com.
