Annie Masse, 97, formerly of Main St. Manville died peacefully Tuesday evening at St. Antoine Residence. She was the loving wife of the late Philip Masse.
Born in Manville she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Mary (Lysy) Dunayeski. She was a resident of Manville for most of her life and also lived in Woonsocket for several years.
Mrs. Masse was employed at Textron Corp in Manville for over 30 years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles.
Annie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by a son Raymond P. Masse and his wife, Elaine, of North Smithfield and three grandchildren Deborah Lynn Budziak and her husband, James, of St. George, Utah, Todd W. Masse and his wife, Margaret, and Christopher R. Masse, and his companion Kim Majors, both of Woonsocket and several great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Daniel Dunayeski, Lillian L’Heureux, Rose Kozak and Olga Trahan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be Saturday at 10:00 am in the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 71 Central St. Manville. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Russian Orthodox Cemetery in Manville. Visiting hours are Friday from 4-7 pm.
