Elsie A. (Noverca) Starcher, age 68 of Fall River, passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 6, 2014. She was the widow of Leonard Starcher and the daughter of the late Antero & Mildred (Makin) Noverca. Prior to retiring in 2002, Elsie had worked for the Fall River Herald News and previously for Aetna Insurance Co.
She is survived by her son Ken August and his wife Laurie of Fall River; her brother: Russell A. Noverca of RI; a grandson: Robert Bouchard: a granddaughter: Christa Silva: a great granddaughter: Alexandria Bouchard; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation for Elsie will take place in the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on FRIDAY from 11-12:30 P.M. followed by a memorial service at 12:30 P.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. www.rogersfuneral.com.
