Hilda (Martin) Correa, 81 of Fall River, passed away Tuesday, October 07, 2014 at home with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late Joseph M. Correa and the daughter of the late Dennis and Isabel (Souza) Martin. Prior to retiring, Hilda worked as a Sewing Machine Operator and then in the Weave Room Office for Joan Fabrics. She was a parishioner of St. Michael’s Church, a member of the “Classy Lady Club”, former member of the Royal Travelers Club, and an avid knitter.
She is survived by her children: Donna Baer and her husband Brent of Gardner, MA, Linda S. Francoeur of Fall River, and Scott J. Correa of Fall River; her sister: Irene Martin of Fall River; 3 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Dennis Martin Jr.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on SATURDAY at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael’s Church at 9:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
