Pasquale “Patsy” Giordano, 93 of Medford, died Monday after a long illness in the Kaplan Family Hospice House, Danvers.

Born in Boston, he resided in Medford since 1957 and was the son of the late Carmella (Scialdone) and Antonio Giordano. Pasty was a Letter Carrier for the U.S Postal Service in Arlington from 1966 until he retired in 1983. He served during World War II in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1945. Pasty was a coach for the South Medford Little League and Medford Youth Basketball for many years and a member of the Medford Elks Lodge #915.

Beloved husband of the late Victoria R. “Vicky” (Marchese) Giordano. Devoted father of Loretta Tusa and her husband Frank of Medford, Robert Giordano and his wife Suzanne of Stoneham. Loving grandfather of Christine Ragucci and her husband Mark, Stephanie Keenan and her husband Mark, Michael Tusa and his wife Laura, Victoria Melo and her husband Brian, Anthony Tusa and his wife Lori, Annmarie Therriault and her husband Jamie, Robert Giordano, Jr. and his wife Katie. Loving great grandfather of Gabriella, Mark and Juliana Ragucci, Michael Jr., and Nicholas Tusa, Matthew, Christopher and Jason Therriault, Nora Giordano, Anthony Melo and Caroline Keenan. Brother of the late Vincent Giordano, Catherine Regan, Ursula Cino and Elizabeth Salerno.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Friday at 9:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Our Lady of Grace Church, 59 Nichols St., Chelsea, at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4 - 8pm. Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
