Obituary

Laconia---Harold A. Dyment,95,of 21 Ledges Drive, Taylor Community,died on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Ledgeview, Taylor Community, Laconia, NH.
Mr. Dyment was born June 6, 1919, in Concord, NH, the son of the late Charles and Anne (Roy) Dyment. He graduated from Concord High School in 1937, Summer Schools at the University of Michigan and Harvard Business School . He was a veteran of World War II having served in the US Army in Australia, New Guinea and the Philippines. He was employed by Blue Cross-Blue Shield for nearly 30 years before retiring to the Laconia area, wintering in Florida for many years. Mr. Dyment was a member of the Immanuel Community Church in Concord.
Mr. Dyment was predeceased by his wife of 65 years Phyllis E. (Millbury) Dyment and is survived by daughters Dorothy Lavallee of Swanton, VT, Doreen Banfill of Tavares, FL and Daphne Dubois of Tolleson, AZ; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; a sister, Marion Clattenburg, of Concord and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no visiting hours.
A graveside service will take place next spring at the Soucook Cemetery, Concord.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of choice.
