Donald Bedard, age 75, passed away on Sunday October 5, 2014. He was the son of Alfred and Loretta (Gagnon) Bedard and husband of Almerinda (Souza) Bedard. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and served in the Vietnam Era. He worked as a Metal Spinner for Lightolier Manufacturing for 41 years. Donald enjoyed spending time with his grandsons and a parishioner of St. Bernard’s Parish.
In addition to his wife he’s survived by his daughters; Gail Bedard of Assonet, and Lynn Dennehy (husband Daniel) of North Easton, siblings; Jaqueline Bedard and Claudette Cabral both of Fall River, and Vivian Rak (husband Ted) of Townsend, grandsons; Joshua and Jason Dennehy, and many nieces and nephews.
His funeral arrangements were under the direction of MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on FRIDAY at St. Bernard’s Church at 11:00 A.M. Interment in Assonet Burial Grounds.
