Matilda V. “Tillie” Fountain, 92 of Medford, died Friday after a brief illness in the Bear Hill Nursing Center, Stoneham.

Tillie was a lifelong resident of Medford, and was the daughter of the late Christina (Amaru) and Angelo D'Alessandro. She was an Administrative Assistant, with Polaroid for several years and retired in 1985.

Beloved wife of the late Anthony A. Devoted mother of Christine Beckett of Malden, Peter Fountain of Winthrop, Jane Fountain of Sturbridge, Susan Fountain of Lynn, Frank Fountain of Maine and Maria Cascio of Revere. Also survived by 10 loving grandchildren, 5 loving great grandchildren and1 loving great great granddaughter.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Friday at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
