Obituary

SAULNIER, Sadie M. (Robichaud) of Winthrop, passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital on October 5, 2014. She was 80. She was the beloved wife of the late Edwin T. Saulnier. Born in Nova Scotia, Canada, she was the cherished daughter of the late Cesaire and Vitaline (Deveau) Robichaud. Devoted mother of John E. Saulnier of Winthrop, James T. Saulnier and his wife Jana of Bay, AK, Maureen A. Hanson and her companion Joseph LeBlanc of Winthrop, and Diane M. Ohrenberger and her husband Thomas of Northwood, NH. Adored grandmother of Michelle Saulnier, Haley, Matt, Jake, and Marie Crocetto, Alex and James Hanson, and Jessica and William Ohrenberger. Dear sister of Marie Pelligrini of Lynn and Alfred Robichaud of Canada. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. WINTHROP, on Thurs, October 9, at 9am. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. John the Evangelist Church-Winthrop, at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will take place in Winthrop Cemetery (Belle Isle Section). Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home on Weds, Oct 8, from 4-8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer Research P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX, 75265. Sadie was a member of the Winthrop Senior Center where she enjoyed many of the activities.
