Gilford-----Constance Naomi (Rand) Harpell, 77, of 43 High View Circle, Died at her home on Friday, October 3, 2014.
Mrs. Harpell was born January 15, 1937 in Ware Massachusetts, the daughter of late Naomi (Burdon) and Mark Rand. She is originally a East Bridgewater Massachusetts native before moving and living in Gilford New Hampshire for the last 30 years. Constance also ran "Connie's Kids" , her own daycare and preschool in her own home for 20 years before retiring. She enjoyed exercising at the Laconia Wellness Center, playing cards with friends, arts and crafts of all kinds, cooking, raising plants and above all spending time with her family and friends.
Mrs. Harpell is survived by her loving husband, Don Harpell, a son, Donnie Harpell, and his wife Alycia of Belmont, a Daughter, Kathryn Greenwood, of Keene , a brother Mark Rand, and his wife, Janice, of Ipswich, MA, two sisters; Ginger Hill, of Easthampton, MA, and Barbara Lacey, of Springfield, VT, three grandchildren, Devynn Greenwood of Keene, Kieran and Kayla Harpell, of Belmont, seven nieces and three nephews. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by two brother-in-laws, Warren Hill and Gene Lacey.
Calling Hours will be held Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 12pm-3pm at Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia NH, using the Carriage House entrance.
In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests, a memorial donation may be made to the Community wellness Center, 22 Strafford Street Suite 2,Laconia New Hampshire, 03246.
Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home and Cremation services are assisting the family with arrangements.
