Walter J. Weitz age 91 of Canton passed away at the Sunrise Assisted Living in Norwood October 1st. Born and raised in Boston, he graduated from Mechanic Arts High School and was a Navy Veteran of WW II. He was the Owner of Imperial Millwork in Bridgewater for many years. He has lived in Canton since 1954 where he was a former member of the K Of C Council #2095. Walter loved a party and enjoyed spending time socializing with family and friends. Beloved husband of the late Gloria T. (Berardinelli). Father of Paul Weitz and his wife Susan of Falmouth, Susan M. Sellon and her husband Raymond of Stoughton, Sheryl A. Hopper of VA and the late Gerald W. Weitz. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Friday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. Gerard Majella Church Canton Saturday morning at 10. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Canton. Navy Veteran WW II.
