Obituary

FALL RIVER… Roberto Aponte, 48, of Fall River passed away Friday, September 26, 2014 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
Born in Bronx, NY, he was a son of Luz A. Mangual and Nestor R. Aponte and has lived in Fall River for over 20 years.
Mr. Aponte was a communicant of St. Mary’s Cathedral. He worked for several years at O.B. Tree Service of Stoughton and enjoyed riding his motorcycle, watching movies and sports, more specifically the New York Yankees.
Along with his parent, he leaves behind his companion: Carmen Maldonado of Fall River, 2 daughters: Tiffany M. Aponte of Puerto Rico and Kiara Lee Aponte of Fall River, a son: Roberto Aponte of Fall River, 3 sisters: Awilda Badillo-Aponte of Fall River, Solymar Aponte of Providence and Tatiana Aponte of Puerto Rico, 2 brothers: Robert Aponte of Fall River and Robert Aponte of Cleveland, OH, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 9 AM from the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption, Second St. Fall River. Calling hours will be held Friday from 5 - 8 PM.
Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River.
