Madeleine C. (Cournoyer) Crotty 89, died Sunday in Oakland Grove Health and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Jeremiah Crotty Jr. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Blanche (Boisvert) Cournoyer.
She is survived by five children; Jeremiah Crotty III of Woonsocket, Claire Crotty of Woonsocket, Maureen Crotty of Woonsocket, Michael Crotty of Pascoag, and Jason Crotty of Sturbridge, MA, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, a brother Donald Cournoyer of Woonsocket, and a sister Irene Malo also of Woonsocket. She was also the sister of the late Paul and Roland Cournoyer. Services are under the direction of Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home and are private.
