Methuen – Ronald J. "Ronnie" Bonanno, 60 of Methuen, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2014 in Salisbury, MA.
Born in Methuen on February 13, 1954, Ronnie was the son of Rocco J. Bonanno, Jr. and Maria C. (Grillo) Bonanno. He attended Methuen schools and graduated from Tenney High School in 1972. Ronnie worked as a district sales manager for Dana Corporation and was a member of Lodge 902 Sons of Italy in Methuen, the Methuen Exchange Club, Methuen Counsel #4027 Knights of Columbus, and a member of the Bonanno Family Association.
Ronnie will be deeply missed by his son, Ronald J. Bonanno and his wife, Tracie; 2 grandchildren, Daniella and Logan Bonanno; his brother, John R. Bonanno and his wife, Cyndi; and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sister, Maureen Currier.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Thursday, October 2, 2014 from 3 - 8 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen. Ronnie's Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, October 3, 2014 at 9 AM at St. Lucy's Church in Methuen. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested, in Ronnie's honor, memorial contributions be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Greater New England Chapter, PO Box 845945, Boston, MA 02284-5945, and to the Methuen Exchange Club, PO Box 1008, Methuen, MA 01844.
