Irene B. (Doyon) Germain, 97, of Oceanside, CA, died September 23rd at her home. The daughter of Olivier and Marie (Rheault) Doyon she was born in Canada. Mrs. Germain lived in the Merrimack Valley for many years, until she retired to California. She worked at Western Electric as a supervisor and inspector. Mrs. Germain was a member of the Pioneers of America, a devoute catholic and enjoyed dancing. She was always caring and will be missed by all who met her. The widow of Hervey Germain she is survived by one daughter: Anita Germain of LaQuinta, CA. Two sons: Richard Germain of Derry, NH, and Alan Germain of Reno, NV. There are 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson, and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the Plonowski Funeral Home, 180 Jackson St., Lawrence.
