Patrick McGourty (71) of Brockton died September 22, in the Good Samaritan Medical Center. He was the loving husband of Lorna (Labor) McGourty.
He was born in Hamilton, Lanarkshire, Scotland son of the late Francis and Jane (McCue) McGourty. He was a resident of Brockton the past 25 years coming from Scotland. While in Scotland he worked many years as a metal fabricator in a steel company. Communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Patrick loved to fix cars, garden, read and fabricate his own tools.
He will be missed by his daughter Conchita J. McGourty of Randolph, his 3 sons Francis C. of Taunton, John P. and Mathew J. McGourty both of Brockton, 3 grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be held Monday September 29th at 11 am in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
