Webster
Alan A. Linkevich, 58, passed away at his home.
He leaves his Life Partner of 21 years, Lori A. Burrows of Webster, a daughter, Ashley M. Linkevich, of Worcester, his mother, Grace M. (Williams) Grundstrom of Worcester, 2 brothers; Richard F. Linkevich, Jr. of Palm Harbor, FLA., and Alfred J. Laskowski, Jr. of Sturbridge, a sister, Gail E. Kustigian of West Brookfield, and several nieces ,nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
Alan was predeceased by former wife, Nancy (O’Brien) Linkevich, a daughter Tara and a son, Michael and a sister, Sandra A. Linkevich , also step-father, Alfred J. Laskowski, Sr.
He was born in Worcester a son of the late Richard F. Linkevich and has lived in Webster the past 2 years.
He was a former member of the Millbury Planning Board, coached CYC softball, basketball and volleyball, the Lou Gehrig League, wheelchair basketball and soccer.
Alan loved politics, and was a vocal town advocate at town meetings.
He also was a graduate of Framingham State College and received a B.A. in sociology.
A Memorial Mass for Alan will be Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 9AM in St. Anne’s Church, 16 Church St., Fiskdale.
Burial will be Private and at the convenience of the family in Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester.
Calling Hours for Alan will be Friday, September 26, 2014 from 5:30PM to 8:30 PM at THE ROBERT J. MILLER FUNERAL HOME and LAKE CHAPEL, 366 School St., Webster.
