Angelo Corrado

Angelo A. Corrado passed away in Derry, New Hampshire after a long battle with cancer. He was 76. Raised in Medford, the son of the late Angelo and Antoinetta (Raffaele) Corrado, Angelo served in the U.S. Air Force after high school. When he returned from active duty, Angelo opened Corrado’s Pizza in Hudson, a business he owned and operated for 30 years. He worked 10 years for the Registry of Motor Vehicles and in his retirement worked at Shaw’s Super Market in Medford. He and his loving wife Carol, who passed away this past March, enjoyed their lives together with family and friends. Daily they held court at the Dunkin Donuts on Main St. in Medford with a large circle of friends.

Predeceased by his loving wife Carol (Cecchini) Corrado, he leaves his beloved children: Yvonne Breault and her husband Jeffrey of Braintree, Michelle Palmacci and her husband Robert of Derry, Angelo, John and Michael Corrado. He was a loving grandfather to Michael, Diana, Nicole and Denise. He was the brother of Mary Currie, Rose DeVito, Louis and Samuel Corrado.

Family and friends may visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Thursday from 4 thru 8 PM and again on Friday September 26th at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Medford at 11 AM. Burial will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
