FALL RIVER …Frederic N. Morrissette, 89, of Fall River, passed away September 15, 2014 at home. He was born in Fall River, the son of the late Ovila and Yvonne (Watts) Morrissette and had lived in this area his whole life. He was the husband of Rose D. (Pelletier) Morrissette. Mr. Morrissette served in the United States Navy during WWII. He enjoyed gardening, playing cards and spending time with family.
Survivors include his wife, 2 Sons: Paul A. Morrissette of Fall River and Richard A. Morrissette of N. Kingstown, RI, a Daughter: Diane M. Coulombe of Westport, a Brother: Arthur Morrissette of Texas, 3 Sisters: Rita Leverette of Dartmouth, Thresa Campbell of Churchton, MD, Jacqueline Yokel of Dartmouth, 3 Grandchildren: Kimberly Pavao of Coventry, RI, Christy Morrissette of New Bedford, Jason Coulombe of Dighton, 6 Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Wilfred and Raymond Morrissette.
Funeral Mass to which relatives and friends are invited to will be held on Friday at St. Bernard’s Church, 30 S. Main Street, Assonet at 10AM. Entombment in Notre Dame Cemetery.
