Terezinha deSousa-Correia, age 57 of Fall River, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Sep 20, 2014 1n St. Anne’s Hospital. Born in Vila Franca do Campo, São Miguel, Açores, she was the wife of Jose D. Correia and the daughter of Diamantina (Cufa) Sousa and the late Eduardo Sousa. She worked as a Home Health Aide in the Healthcare Industry. She was very creative and enjoyed all kinds of crafts, sewing, embroidering, etc.
In addition to her husband & mother, Terezinha leaves her 6 children: Grace Madeira, Eduardo Sousa Jr., Stephen Madeira, Jose Madeira, & Ricardo Madeira all of Fall River, and Kevin Madeiros of California; her sister: Anna Medeiros; and brother: Jose E. Sousa both of Fall River; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
Her private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the MANAUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main Street, Fall River, MA.
