Henry Rego, age 85, formerly of Westport, passed away Sunday September 21st at Sarah Brayton Nursing Center. Born in Fall River he was the son of the late Manuel and Clara (Raposa) Rego. Prior to retirement he worked at the Dartmouth Cinemas. He also worked for Sagamore Mills and Lincoln Park for many years.
Henry leaves behind his niece Irene Rezendes (husband Tony) and nephew Raymond Tavares as well as 4 generations of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings Gilbert Rego, who just passed away September 3rd of this year, as well as Mary Warren, Olive Rego, Laura Pickering, Evelyn Rego and Manuel Pavao.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on WEDNESDAY here at 8:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. George Parish, Westport at 10 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
