Roberta L. (Keating) “Bobbie” Blackler of Wilmington died Thursday at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital after battling ALS. She was 48.
Bobbie was born and raised in Cambridge, the daughter of the late Leo and Frances (Witkos) Keating. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Bobbie was a good friend to many. She worked as a bartender at the Medford Lodge of Elks.
The beloved wife of Michael A. Blackler, she was a devoted mother to James, Joseph and Jessica Kweedor and a loving grandmother to 7 grandchildren. The dear sister of Frankie Lane, she was also a loving aunt.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Wednesday September 24th from 4 thru 8 PM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, with a service of remembrance at 7:30 PM.
