NORTH OXFORD: Aline G. (Lareau) Catacchio, 82, of McIntyre Road and formerly of Leicester died Friday, Sept. 19 in Lanessa Extended Care in Webster after an illness.
Her husband Victor Catacchio died in 2000. She leaves three sons Thomas V. Catacchio and his wife Ellan of West Brookfield, Victor M. Catacchio and his wife Sandra and Steven J. Catacchio and his wife Kerrie of North Oxford, three daughters Antoinette Hadley and her husband Craig of Sullivan, NH, Nancy Hagglund and her husband Charles of Rochdale and Denise Jaegle and her husband Gary of Auburn, a brother Roland Lareau of Searsport, Maine, a sister Joan Beley of Rockland, Maine, 17 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and her beloved Chihuahua “Peanut”. She was pre-deceased by a son Roger P. Catacchio and three brothers Ronald, Roger & Donald Lareau.
Mrs. Catacchio was born in Worcester, daughter of Emile Laraeu and Beatrice (Goyette) Dunn. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper at Jamesbury Corp. in Worcester. She enjoyed camping and cooking.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, Sept. 24 from MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Pius X Church, 1153 Main Street, Leicester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Tuesday, Sept. 23 from 4:00-7:00 PM in the funeral home.
