Eugene ‘Gene” Baglio, Sr. 92 of Medford, died unexpectedly Thursday in the Mt. Auburn Hospital, Cambridge.

Born in Boston, he lived in Medford for the past 68 years and formerly of East Boston. He was the son of the late Carmella (DeFrancesco) and John Baglio. Eugene was the proprietor of Gene’s TV Repair in Medford for 40 years and retired in 1999. He was a late US Army veteran of WW II serving from 1942 to 1945.

Beloved husband of the late Carmela (DeMattia) Baglio. Devoted father of Sandra Baglio of Stoneham, Janet Haskell of Medford, Gene Baglio and his wife Maureen of Waltham. Loving grandfather of Cheryl, Travis, Amy, David, Jennifer and John. Loving great grandfather of Thomas, Paige, Alisa and Nathaniel. Brother of Charles Baglio and his wife Phyllis of Dorchester and the late Joseph Baglio, Tina Calvino and Phyllis Gulinello.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Tuesday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4-8. Services will conclude with burial at St. Michael Cemetery, Boston.
